As we step into a new year, Jesus’ command—*“Let us go over to the other side”*—invites us to move forward with faith, courage, and expectation. In this message, Rev. Phil uses the disciples’ stormy boat ride to show what we can expect as we pursue spiritual growth in 2026.

1. The DESTINATION (Mark 4:35–36)

- What is the “other side” God is calling you toward this year

- Make sure Jesus is in your boat

- You may need to leave the crowd behind

- Some people may follow you toward the same destination

2. The COMPLICATION (Mark 4:37–38)

Storms will come—so ask yourself:

- Will I remain committed to the journey

- How do I truly view Jesus

- Am I willing to keep trusting Him when the waves rise

3. The TRANSFORMATION (Mark 4:39–41)

- Jesus may reveal Himself to you in unexpected ways this year

- Storms become classrooms where faith deepens and Christ is magnified

Application: Moving forward requires faith, trust, and a willingness to let Jesus lead you to the “other side” of His purpose for your life.
