Gold – The Gift For a King | Sermon

Gold represents royalty and authority. In this opening Christmas message, Rev. Phil shows how Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, worthy of our worship and submission.

1. His Sovereignty Declared

- The wise men recognized the newborn King (Matthew 2:11).

- Jesus Himself declared His authority (Matthew 28:18).

- He is the Ruler of all creation (Colossians 1:16–17).

- His kingship is proclaimed in eternity (Revelation 19:16).

2. His Supremacy Demonstrated

- Jesus rules by love and righteousness.

- He calmed the storm (Mark 4:39–41).

- He cast out demons (Mark 5:1–13).

- He raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11:43–44).

- He conquered the grave (Matthew 28:1–6).

3. His Submission Desired

- We honor Christ’s kingship when we surrender our lives to Him (Luke 9:23–24; Romans 6:13; 2 Corinthians 5:15).

- Will you crown Jesus as Lord of your priorities, possessions, and plans?
